Citrix Systems, Inc. announced the availability of two new UNIX
clients based on its Independent Computing Architecture (ICA),
the emerging industry standard for server-based computing. The
new ICA Clients for LINUX and SCO UNIX extend Citrix's support
for all major UNIX platforms, which also include Sun Solaris
HP-UX, IBM AIX, Digital UNIX and SGI IRIX UNIX. Citrix's new ICA
Clients for LINUX and SCO UNIX can be downloaded at no charge
from the company's website, located at
http://download.citrix.com, for use with Citrix WinFrame and
MetaFrame server software.
When used in conjunction with Citrix WinFrame or MetaFrame
servers, Citrix ICA client software extends the reach of
Windows-based applications to a broad range of client devices
across heterogeneous computing environments, without application
rewrites, special emulation software or dedicated hardware.
