A new version of Xerox's Web-based, community-maintained, document- sharing system, which makes it easy to share hard copy documents alongside digital documents.

Users simply scan through a software link to Visioneer Inc.'s popular PaperPort software, and drag and drop the document into the same DocuShare Intranet- based document libraries as other, related electronic files with DocuShare's powerful organization, indexing, access and protection features.

While DocuShare 1.5 SE continues to provide features such as foldering, access management and versioning to end users through standard web browsers, it now also supports Secure Socket Layer (SSL) for extranet applications and form validation through JavaScript.
