Tarantella enables web delivery of applications without the need for application re-write, drastically reducing the time to deliver applications, allowing more users to access the applications and allowing administrators to centrally manage users and applications. It allows users to access any existing or new application from any Java technology-enabled client or Windows PC, without the need to install any software on the client device.

This latest version features a new security pack to ensure secure communication between the client and the Tarantella server, and third-tier load balancing for increased scalability.
